BeVokal Seller Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 21 May, 2025

Welcome to BeVokal, a platform dedicated to empowering India’s finest homegrown brands. These Terms & Conditions govern your relationship with BeVokal as a seller. By registering and listing your products on BeVokalStore.com, you agree to comply with the following terms:


1. Eligibility & Onboarding

  • Sellers must be Indian entities or individuals offering homegrown or India-origin products.

  • BeVokal reserves the right to verify identity, GSTIN, PAN, business registration, or Aadhaar before activation.

  • Products must be authentic, legal, and compliant with Indian laws (e.g., BIS, FSSAI, Legal Metrology where applicable).


2. Product Listings

  • Sellers must provide accurate product information, including:

    • Descriptions, pricing, SKU, weight/dimensions

    • High-quality images (no copyright violation)

  • Listings must not include:

    • Counterfeit or replica goods

    • Inappropriate or restricted items (weapons, drugs, etc.)

  • Products must reflect homegrown or made-in-India values (sourcing/local craftsmanship encouraged).


3. Order Fulfilment & Shipping

  • Sellers may choose:

    • BeVokal-managed logistics (recommended)

    • Self-fulfillment (must update tracking info within 48 hrs)

  • Orders must be dispatched within 2 business days unless otherwise specified.

  • Delayed or unfulfilled orders may be penalized or delisted.


4. Returns, Exchanges & Defects

  • Sellers must honor BeVokal’s 3-day return policy (unless exempted for hygiene/personalized/embroidered items).

  • Return reasons may include:

    • Wrong item delivered

    • Defective or damaged product

    • Not as described

  • In case of defect or damage, sellers will:

    • Bear the reverse logistics cost

    • Bear the 5% of total order as penalty.

    • Replace the item or issue a refund

  • BeVokal mediates customer claims and reserves final decision rights to ensure platform trust.


5. Payouts & Fees

  • BeVokal charges a commission, shared during onboarding.

  • Seller payouts are processed in 24-48 hrs post expiration of refund days (if any).

  • TDS @1% under Section 194-O will be deducted (until exempted) and Form 16A issued quarterly.

  • Sellers are responsible for their own GST filings and invoicing.


6. Product Quality & Liability

  • Sellers are fully responsible for:

    • Product authenticity

    • Compliance with safety and packaging standards.

    • Customer grievances regarding the product.

  • Repeated quality issues or customer complaints may lead to suspension or delisting.


7. Taxes & Compliance

  • Sellers must ensure:

    • Valid GST registration where applicable.

    • Compliant invoices are shipped with products.

  • BeVokal will not be responsible for non-compliance penalties from tax authorities.


8. Brand Representation & Ethics

  • Sellers must not misrepresent brand origin or quality.

  • False "organic", "handmade", or "artisan" claims without proof may result in delisting.

  • Sellers must align with BeVokal’s “Vocal for Local” mission and maintain brand integrity.


9. Delisting, Suspension & Termination

  • BeVokal reserves the right to:

    • Temporarily suspend sellers for breach of policy.

    • Delist products with low ratings or high return rates.

    • Permanently ban sellers engaged in fraudulent or unethical practices.


10. Dispute Resolution

  • BeVokal acts as the first line of mediation in disputes between sellers and customers.

  • Legal disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Noida, India.


11. Platform Rights

  • BeVokal may modify these terms periodically.

  • All intellectual property (logos, designs, platform UI) remains with BeVokal.

  • BeVokal has the right to promote seller products on social, email, or paid ads without prior permission.


12. Our Shared Responsibility

BeVokal is more than a marketplace — it's a movement for India’s creators and entrepreneurs. We expect our sellers to:

  • Uphold fair business practices

  • Deliver exceptional experiences

  • Collaborate in building a trusted ecosystem for Indian brands
